Kennedy Gold Mine Tours

Kennedy Gold Mine Tours, located in Jackson, is one of the deepest gold mines in the world. The mine produced over $34 million of gold from 1860 until 1942, during the California Gold Rush. The mine had one of the largest stamp mills in the Mother Lode, with large wooden tailings wheels. The historic video of the miners from 1914, is a must-see.
