La Jolla Cave Store

Visitors to the La Jolla Cave Store can access the "world-famous" Sunny Jim Cave, by land. The man-made tunnel from the store to the cave, was carved out with a pick and shovel, over two years. Sunny Jim Cave remains the only known land access sea cave, along the California coast. Rent snorkel gear from the store to find one of the six ocean-carved entrances.
