Redwood National Park
Redwood National and State Parks, located in the far north coast of California are home to some of the world's tallest trees. Located near Crescent City, California, there are four parks that contain and protect approximately 45% of the Costal Redwood old-growth forests.
The park has been designated a both a World Heritage Site and International Biosphere Reserve due to its rare and unique ecosystem. Along with the Coastal Redwoods, the park includes pristine coastline, rivers, streams and indigenous plants and animals.
Visitors thrill at the sight of Stellar’s Sea Lions along the coast, Bald Eagles soaring overhead or the rare sight of a Northern Spotted Owl.
