Los Angeles Metro Area Events
Six Falgs Fright Fest
Head out to Six Flags Magic Mountain and enjoy the frightful fun that fills the park after 7 p.m.
A California Christmas Come on out to the Regan Library and Museum in Simi Valley for a unique display of all that California has to offer. There will be 24 different trees decorated to represent various attractions and cities across the state. Times vary.
Orange County Events
German Christmas Holiday Market Old World Village in Huntington Beach hosts this market filled with German food, vintage gifts, and arts and crafts. There will also be a bouncy house for the kids, photos with Santa, and Dachshund Races to enjoy. The market opens at 10 a.m.
San Diego Metropolitan Area Events
Peter Pan Pay a visit to Never Land and meet the Lost Boys, Captain Hook, and Tinker Bell. Peter and Wendy take the stage at the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center in La Jolla. Show times vary.
Dinner with Marlene Pay a visit to the Lamb’s Players Theatre in Coronado for a look at an unforgettable dinner party one evening just prior to the start of WWII. Show times vary per day.
Swim in the refreshing Oceanside Harbor, bike next to the ocean on your way to and from San Clemente, run on the Oceanside Pier and along The Strand, or just come on out to Oceanside and cheer on the athletes.
Race Across America (RAAM)
Come on out to the Oceanside Pier and cheer as cyclists begin the 3,000-mile journey to Annapolis, MD in one of the most difficult races in the world.
California's Inland Empire Events
Great Outdoors Arts & Crafts Festival Come on out to the Bass Pro Shop in Rancho Cucamonga for this juried fine arts show. Works are on display starting at 11 a.m.
Big Bear Turkey Trot Starting in Meadow Park in Big Bear Lake, this family fun event offers three different distances to choose from to walk, jog, or run. The winner gets a turkey to take home for their Thanksgiving feast. The fun begins at 9 a.m.
San Bernardino Symphony: Home for the Holidays Come on out to the California Theatre of the Performing Arts in San Bernardino for a lovely concert full of music from the Nutcracker and other Christmas carols. The conductor takes the stand at 7:30 p.m.
Desert Region Events
McCormick's Classic Car Show and Auction The Spa Resort Casino in Palm Springs hosts over 500 exotic cars for this auction. The auction begins at noon on Friday.
Chalk Fest 29 Test your chalk skills during this new event in Twentynine Palms. This event is open to everyone from professional to amateur levels with a special area for the kiddos to work.
Festival of Lights Parade This fun parade down Palm Canyon Drive has lighted floats, horses, and classic cars. It rolls out at 5:45 p.m.
Walk of the Inns Enjoy a self-guided tour through some of Palm Springs’ most unique hotels and inns. The tour can begin at any of the participating hotels or at the Palm Springs Art Museum. Hotels are open for tours starting at 4 p.m.
