Aquarium of the Pacific

Enjoy an aquatic adventure in California. Visit the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, just south of Los Angeles. This popular attraction is located on Rainbow Harbor near the Long Beach Convention Center and the permanent home of the original Queen Mary, also a Long Beach attraction.

Long Beach Airport

Originally known as Daugherty Field, Long Beach Airport, located in the center of Long Beach, was established in 1923. Hangars, runways and a control tower were built during the late 1920's and mid 1930s. In 1928, the United States Navy established the Naval Reserve Air Base at the airport. It's a hub of travel in the Orange County area.

Throughout the years, the airport has become one of the world's busiest general aviation airports, with flight schools, charter flights and private aviation activity. Encompassing more than 1,100 acres, the airport's five runways service the four commercial airlines to several major U.S. cities. Rancho Los Alamitos Historic Ranch
