The Best Western Hanford Inn, conveniently located right off the 198 freeway, is just minutes away from Hanford's Historical Courthouse Square, which is host to many local and cultural events, like the Renaissance Fair, Antique Shows and Arts and Crafts Fairs. These events are held annually at different times of the year. Just across from Courthouse Square is the Carnegie Museum, so named because the museum is housed in the original Carnegie Library Building. The museum offers a look at Hanford's history, growth and development through exhibits and photos. If you go east about one mile you will come to a place called China Alley, you will then find another historical building called the Taoist Temple. When you walk up the set of steep stairs to enter the temple, you will get an unprecedented feeling of the history that surrounds you.
