The Sacramento River Discovery Center educates students and visitors through its instructional programs, on the importance of preserving the Sacramento River watershed. The center houses a two-acre native plant garden to promote conservation efforts and maintain the native ecosystems. Many local students have enjoyed becoming an intern through the Natural Resources Internship program.
