Most Popular Area Attractions

Burlingame Museum of Pez Memorabilia

South of San Francisco International Airport, the Burlingame Museum of Pez Memorabilia is an ideal destination for families. As you explore the Bay Area, be sure to visit this premier toy museum. Make the short drive in from nearby Milbrae or South San Francisco for a flashback to childhood with our favorite Pez dispensers.

Pez fans delight at the sight of the world's largest Pez dispenser along with samples of nearly every Pez container ever made. Collectors browse the latest Pez memorabilia for purchase. Additional exhibits at the Burlingame Museum include the Classic Toy Museum, and the Banned Toy Museum.

Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail

Stretching from San Francisco to the southern reaches of Arizona, the Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail is a 1,210-mile trail, and massive piece of U.S. history. Juan Bautista de Anza began the exploratory trek in 1774 across the Sonoran Desert, following the Colorado River. Anza completed his initial trip in 74 days. Check out the northern-most point of the trail in the Bay Area.

On Anza's second trip, his supply of horses and Texas Longhorn bulls and cows started the cattle and horse industry in California. They established the Presidio of San Francisco and the Mission San Francisco de Asis, which became San Francisco. Learn about the history of the trail during an auto tour along the historic trail, or stop to see the landmarks, sights and National Park Service reenactments

Levi's Stadium

Home of the San Francisco 49ers, Levi's Stadium draws Bay Area football fans to the community of Santa Clara every fall. In 2014, the state-of-the-art stadium replaced historic, yet obsolete Candlestick Park, giving over 68,000 football fans a truly unique experience on Sundays.

While you enjoy a football game at Levi's Stadium, be sure to visit the 49ers Museum, a 20,000 square-foot facility dedicated to celebrating the team's storied history. Showcasing its versatility, the stadium also hosts a variety of separate events as well – the NCAA PAC-12 championship game, professional wrestling's Wrestlemania, and even college football's Fight Hunger Bowl.

Moscone Center

Make the most of your next visit to the Bay Area with time spent at the Moscone Center. The largest convention and exhibition center in San Francisco, the Moscone Center is located just northwest of the I-80, on Howard Street, not far from 3rd Street.

Opened in 1981, the Moscone Center features an exhibit hall of more than 700,000 square feet in size. There are also 106 meeting rooms at the Moscone Center, totally 256,225 square feet. Throughout the year, you'll find a wide range of events, conventions, and banquets hosted at the Moscone Center. Some events include the San Francisco Summer Gift Fair, and the Women's Empowerment Summit.

San Francisco International Airport

Planning air travel to the Bay Area? You'll most likely land at the San Francisco International Airport. Known as the "gateway to the Pacific," it's located south of San Francisco along the San Francisco Bay. The airport began offering flights in 1927, as the Mills Field Municipal Airport.

United Airlines was one of the first to offer flights from the airport. The airport's expansion throughout the years, has allowed for more than thirty-five commercial airlines to provide flights, to many major world-wide cities. San Francisco International Airport is the state's second busiest airport, behind Los Angeles International Airport.

Travelers enjoy a variety of airport amenities including shopping, dining, spa services, public showers, banking services, a medical clinic, Wi-Fi internet access, convenient parking and rental car agencies.

The 24-hour AirTrain provides quick and easy access to the four airport terminals, garages, rental car center and the BART station. Before your next flight, stroll through the Aviation Museum and Library to view the diverse art on display.
