You approach our smaller par 58 Pebble Course with a bit different mindset than you would our Championship Boulder Course. The newer of the two golf courses at Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort, the Resort Course, is a Ted Robinson design debuted in 1995. A par72, 6,705-yard course with four sets of tees, the Resort Course features a desert links-style layout. Both Tahquitz Creek golf courses offer views of the San Jacinto Mountains. Known as CDMOD, the Children's Discovery Museum of the Desert is a children’s center first established in 1986, and is set in California’s desert region. Located between Palm Desert and Palm Springs, CDMOD is open daily from January to April, and Tuesdays through Sunday throughout the year.
CDMOD showcases interactive and educational exhibits such as "Science Rules" and "Art is Versatile." There are even exhibits for smaller children and toddlers in the “For the Littlest Ones” exhibit.
Living Desert Zoo & Gardens
Previously the Living Desert Museum, the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens is a botanical garden and zoo located in southern California’s desert region. Initially founded in 1970 as a 360-acre wilderness preserve, this public garden and zoo is set between Palm Springs and Palm Desert.

Palm Springs International Airport
Palm Springs International Airport was developed in 1939 as a United States Army Corps emergency landing field. In 1942, a new Palm Springs airfield was built a mile-an-a-half from the original location and named Palm Springs Army Airfield. The 560th Army Air Forces Base Unit used the airfield to train in navigation and long-distance over-water flying. In 1964, the airport was renamed to Palm Springs Municipal Airport and began to offer commercial flights.
The airport's eleven commercial airlines service California Desert visitors with several flight choices to several hundred cities across the world. Terminal shops and restaurants include the Desert Marketplace, PGA Tour Shop, Eva's of Palm Spring clothing store, the 12th Fairway Bar and Grill, Starbucks and California Vintages Wine Bar.
