The Del Norte County Airport is located near Crescent City, in the North Coast Redwoods area of California. The airport, sometimes referred to as Jack McNamara Field, encompasses 500 acres of land, along California's Pacific Coast. During World War II, the airport was the location of the Naval Air Station Alameda.
