Can the Los Angeles Kings repeat their 2012 Stanley cup championship? Enjoy the 2012-2013 season at the Staples Center and enjoy the excitement while they work it out. The Staples center is also home to LA's Clippers and Lakers, making it a frequent seasonal destination this for sports fans. Travelers to Los Angeles, be sure to look for the newly renovated Hollywood Sign overlooking the city. Celebrate the season at the Hollywood Christmas Parade, or performances of The Nutcracker in Torrance or Redondo Beach among other locations. Soon, the New Year is here, with the Rose Bowl festivities launching 2013.

Just in time for the holidays, the iconic Hollywood Sign makeover will be complete. The historic landmark stands above Los Angeles, marking the neighborhood of Hollywood. Make your way along Mulholland Drive for a closer look and fantastic view of Los Angeles. Head down to the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue to the heart of Hollywood, for more iconic Los Angeles experiences.

Watch as Grand Marshall Actor Joe Mantegna, leads the 2012 Hollywood Christmas Parade down Hollywood Boulevard and back on Sunset Boulevard. The start is in front of the Chinese Theatre where you can see the hand and footprints of your favorite stars. With celebrities, Santa and plenty of entertainment – the Hollywood Christmas Parade is a great start to the season.

The holidays are here in southern California, with a variety of options for festive events. Don’t miss the tradition of The Nutcracker. Torrance hosts performances at the Marsee Auditorium, as well as Redondo Beach at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center. See the South Bay Ballet perform its rendition of The Nutcracker at the Marsee Auditorium on Crenshaw Boulevard in Torrance. The Los Angeles Ballet visits the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center on December 28th, to perform their 2012 Nutcracker.

Get ready for The Grandaddy of Them All; the 2013 Rose Bowl Game is coming to Pasadena January 1st, at 1:30 PM PST. Presented by VIZIO, the famous Rose Bowl features a match-up between the top teams in the Big Ten and Pac-12. The 2013 New Year's Day game is the 99th in the tradition.

Don’t miss the Rose Parade prior to the game. The 2013 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade is led by Queen Vanessa Natalie Manjarrez and features the theme Oh, The Places You’ll Go! It’s an early day, so stake out a good viewing spot for the 8am Rose Parade filled with marching bands, horses and floral floats. Plan for your spot along Pasadena’s Orange Grove Boulevard, Colorado Boulevard or Sierra Madre Boulevard - this is the year to mark the Rose Bowl Parade off your bucket list.
