Visit Santa Rosa Today

Set only an hour north of San Francisco and a half hour west of Sonoma, Santa Rosa is the largest city in California's wine country. Santa Rosa is the birthplace of Charles M. Shulz, cartoonist of the Peanuts comic, and also features the Charles M. Shulz Museum and Research Center. The center is home to the Snoopy Labyrinth, where visitors may stroll through the land of Charlie Brown and try to not get lost.

Guests also enjoy the Environmental Discovery Center, which features the Storytelling Cavern. Take the kids and let them explore, because admission is free with paid parking at Spring Lake Regional Park. Many visitors also enjoy a day at Howarth Park, just 10 minutes from downtown Santa Rosa. Here, you can take the kids to the Land of Imagination Playground, or cast out and fish a bit at Lake Ralphine.
