Hotels in Willits, CA

West of the Mendocino National Forest, Willits is a conveniently found just off the U.S. Route 101 and the State Route 20. Willits is in Mendocino County, and is the "Gateway to the Redwoods." Set just 20 minutes north of Ukiah, and about an hour east of Fort Bragg, Willits is a charming destination along the California North Coast.

Willits is host to Willits Frontier Days, "California's Oldest Continuous Rodeo." Held every Fourth of July, this week long celebration includes a carnival, water fights and a the Black Bart Gunfighters – they'll really fire you up. Many visitors also enjoy an afternoon at Ridgewood Ranch, the very home of Seabiscuit – the champion Thoroughbred. Children under 11 are free, and tours begin in May and end in October.
